Parent Involvement

GBC is a community where parents are informed and involved.

• Parents are the prime educators of our students and we seek to work closely with them, supporting their high standards.
• We involve parents at every opportunity with College programs.
• Parents are invited to be involved in classrooms and in the Parent Support Group which meets monthly.

Communication

• At GBC we believe communication between school and home is paramount.
• Students have diaries for parents and teachers to convey individual messages.
• Newsletters are distributed fortnightly.

Come and visit

• We invite you to visit our school. The Principal, Mrs Trudy Knol, is interested in your enquiries. Guided tours of the college grounds and classrooms can be arranged.
• Every day is an Open Day at Geelong Baptist College.
• Interviews may be arranged with the Principal to provide you with further information about the school and to guide you through the registration and enrolment procedures.
