A Brief History of GBC: An Exciting Option in Quality Education

The College, based on a Christian foundation, is governed by a Board in Perth which has opened several very successful schools.  The College commenced in 2002 with only 35 students, currently caters for students from Prep through to Year 12 and has 200 enrolments.  It is a modern co-educational day school located in a semi-rural setting at Lovely Banks overlooking Geelong. The student catchment area extends across Geelong and districts, and the College at present runs three bus services.  Geelong Baptist College is establishing a reputation for quality and excellence in learning as it caters for the whole child: spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical.
